They will feel like they were lied to, have no real explanation for their situation, and have very little hope of winning their case.Am I saying you should never defend yourself? No, you should always be ready and willing to defend yourself if the circumstances warrant it. However, when your intent is to seek justice for the h arm you have done, you must be prepared to answer for your actions, regardless of whether you win or lose the case. You must be prepared to do whatever it takes to defend yourself.And if you're in a situation where you are defending yourself against a criminal, and you are truly seeking justice, then you must be prepared to defend yourself, even if it is against a person that has not done anything wrong. Don't ever underestimate the aggressiveness of a criminal. Some of them can really be nasty! However, you need to stand your ground and fight for your life.If you are seeking help from a criminal defense attorney, then you must speak honestly about what your intent is. If you're trying to argue a 'stand your ground' or insanity defense, be prepared to tell him or her exactly what you intend to do, and state your rationale for that purpose.
